David Hillier is the Dean and Professor of Finance at Strathclyde Business School in the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. Strathclyde was named the UK university of the year a few times and Strathclyde Business School is tripled accredited, (EQUIS, AMBA, and AACSB) an achievement held by less than 1% of the universities in the world. Professor Hillier has published books currently being used in MBA and other postgraduate courses of leading European Universities.

He has also published several academic peer-reviewed articles on corporate governance, insider trading, asset pricing, precious metals, auditing, and market microstructure. His research has attracted an ANBAR citation and best paper prizes and he has been ranked in the top 3% most prolific finance researchers in the world over the period 1958–2008 (Heck, 2007). He is on the editorial board of Accounting and Finance, Accounting Research Journal, Finance Letters, Journal of Business Finance and Accounting, Review of Behavioural Finance, and African Journal of Finance and Management. Professor Hillier was employed as a World Bank consultant in March 2004 to the Bank of Tanzania. He has also worked as a consultant for NHS Connecting for Health to advise on their internal corporate governance structures.

R. M. Sriram has over thirty two years of extensive experience in the financial services industry spread across Europe, India, and the Middle East. He is the Founder and Managing Director of the Quadrillion Group, a leading Management Consulting business in the GCC. Sriram is also currently the Director of MAC Capital Advisors, a Corporate Finance and Advisory business focused on South-East Asia, India, and Middle East business corridors.

He is also on the board of Global Alliance Partners, an international network of Investment Banking and Advisory firms.

For four years, from 2009, Sriram was the Chairman of the Board and CEO of Reliance Capital Asset Management (UK), a part of Reliance Capital Ltd - one of India’s largest financial services companies. In this role, he led Reliance Capital’s businesses across financial services verticals for Europe, Middle East, and Africa geographies. The areas of business focus included Asset & Wealth Management and Investment Banking.

A resident of Dubai for over twenty two years, Sriram was the Senior Vice President & Area Director of Citibank’s Non-Resident India Wealth Management Business covering the GCC countries prior to joining Reliance Capital. This business had over 100 wealth managers with AUMs of over USD 4 Bn.

He commenced his career with Citibank in India and spent over a decade and a half with the bank in multiple roles and geographies. He also had a short stint as the India Wealth Management Head for BNP Paribas and the Lending Head for Secured Products with IDBI Bank.

He has been an active member of the Indian Community in Dubai and has been a keynote speaker at the World Government Summit, India Investment Forum, Funds Forum Middle East and other industry forums for many years.

He is an avid quizzer and loves his game of padel and tennis.
